This is due to many reasons:
1. We had a certified organic facility set up to produce it, and they backed out on us.
2. It has been very difficult to find a production facility that will work on a small scale with us, and can also have it certified organic.
3. With the rising cost of shipping rates, it was getting cost prohibitive to ship the liquid.
Did you know that you can make your own Soap Nuts Laundry Liquid using the Soap Nut shells?
What you need:
Add the soap nuts and water to a large pot and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Let boil for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the salt and Borax or washing soda. Stir to dissolve. When it has cooled completely, add the essential oil. Remove the soap nut shells (but don't discard yet!) and pour into a recycled laundry detergent jug or a mason jar. Shake before use. Use 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup liquid per load of laundry, depending on size and soil level.
Reuse the soap nut shells to make another batch of soap nuts liquid. After the second batch of liquid, discard for new soap nuts.
Coming Soon! A Youtube video showing the process!
